rest of us, prices have increased each day for the past month. amy has more on the reasons why. amy? >> ouch. this is the 32nd day of increases including hurricane sandy to switching from the gas we use in the winter to summer gas. it is all coming together to mean bad news for drivers. as of this morning in san francisco you are paying $4.13 up from $3.67 a month ago. check out oakland, you are also up over $4 a gallon and the same situation in san jose a big jump all over the bay area. there are a number of problems that have driven up the price, the recession in europe is not helping. energy futures are reflecting those concerns. unexpected maintenance going on at refineries. and hurricane sandy caused operational problems in the northeast. we have to switch from winter grid to summer grade and that also costs money. we know we have it here in the bay area. we have it tough but maybe you will feel better. it is worse in los angeles. some gas stations there are charging more than $5 a gallon. maybe that will ease the pain this morning. >> developing news from san jose where police
